When to visit Niokolo-Koba National Park

The best period forvisiting the Park is between November and April, when the dry season offers ideal conditions for wildlife observation. During this period,animals gather around watering holes, which makes them easier to spot and maximizes your chances of observing animals in their natural environment.

You will be accommodated in  The island of Mar Lodj accessible by pirogue from the village of N'Dangane inan eco-lodge located by the river and within a wooded park. The Lodge is supplied with electricity by solar panels.  However, depending on your program, you have the possibility  de make a  circuit in the delta over several days with bivouac.

Organization of your tourist circuit in Senegal

How to organize your tourist circuit in Senegal

From Dakar and return to Dakar the circuit represents approximately 1,900 km depending on the options you choose!

The duration of this trip unforgettable journey will depend on your availability and the budget you wish to devote to it.  

To fully enjoy your safari,  we recommend organizing 

  • For Niokolo Park, between 2 and 3 days on site  

  • For the Delta Saloum Park between one and four days, if you wish to do an immersion circuit in the delta with overnight bivouac,

  • For the seaside stay in Salyfrom one to several days depending on the rest time you want to give yourself.

At these lengths of stay,you must add 4 days for transfers between each site.
